Wild thing Description

For literacy we have been reading where the Wild things are  by Maurice Sendak.


As part of our writing we wrote descriptions about a wild thing. Miss Percy. She showed us Several  pictures of the Wild things.  Here is my description of my writing, I was trying to use descriptive nouns and verbs, and interesting vocabulary. Do you think I have achieved my goal?


The Wild thing has glowing amber eyes with loads of white scales on its powerful legs. His razor sharp claws can shred through anything. His hair looks like a male lion’s mane. His tail sticks out like a raccoons.

MOTAT

this is my writing about my trip to MOTAT.

Last Friday we went to MOTAT. When we got there we sat down. After that she told us what time to
catch the tram. And told us about the scavenger hunt. Then we went to look around outside. There was lots of  cool stuff. After that we started the scavenger hunt and started at the fire station. After the scavenger hunt we looked in the library there were heaps of books. Then we saw a village and it had a prison to. So we looked at the prison and the village. Plus we saw a church. After we looked at the church we went on the tram and came back.
